On December 12, at the “AI for Agriculture Science” achievement release event jointly hosted by Nanjing Agricultural University and the Jiangbei New Area Research and Innovation Park,PRCXI Bio participated as a partner in the signing ceremony for the co-construction of the Artificial Intelligence OPC Base. The company also jointly unveiled its AI-driven pesticide R&D achievement—the “Yao Wen” Pesticide Scientist Intelligent Agent.

Signing Ceremony: Building an AI+Agriculture Industry-Academia-Research Collaboration Platform
At the event, Nanjing Agricultural University and Jiangbei New Area Research and Innovation Park jointly unveiled the “AI for Agriculture Science Innovation Base.” This base will focus on the deep integration of artificial intelligence and agricultural science, driving technological breakthroughs, transforming research outcomes, and attracting talent.
As a leading enterprise in life science automation, PRCXI Bio signed a cooperation agreement with Nanjing Agricultural University at the event. Leveraging the innovation base as a platform, both parties will engage in systematic collaboration around smart laboratory construction and automation technology-enabled agricultural research. Together, they will build an integrated innovation ecosystem encompassing “education, research, production, and application” to accelerate the transformation of agricultural scientific achievements into industrial applications.

Joint Release: “Yao Wen” AI Agent Pioneers New Pathway for Pesticide Development
At the achievement launch event, the “Yao Wen” pesticide scientist AI agent—jointly developed by Nanjing Agricultural University, PRCXI Bio, and Nanjing Kejing—made its official debut. As the world's first intelligent R&D system covering the entire pesticide lifecycle, “Yao Wen” can significantly shorten the traditional decade-long pesticide development cycle.

This intelligent system addresses the industry pain points of pesticide R&D—high investment, high risk, high barriers, and long cycles—by integrating 14 core stages from target discovery to market withdrawal iteration. It establishes a closed-loop research system featuring “data-driven, autonomous decision-making, and iterative evolution,” significantly shortening development cycles, reducing trial-and-error costs, and accelerating innovation-driven transformation in pesticide R&D.

PRCXI Bio has deeply integrated smart laboratory capabilities with automation within its system, ensuring AI-generated solutions can directly drive high-throughput experimental platforms to achieve a closed-loop model of “intelligent R&D—automated execution.” Zhu Bin, Boss of PRCXI Bio, stated: “Since introducing ‘PharmQ’, pesticide R&D efficiency has significantly improved, and development cycles have been substantially shortened. As a local enterprise in Jiangsu, we are committed to partnering with Nanjing Agricultural University to lead the charge in AI-empowered agriculture, driving the industry's transformation toward innovation-led development.”
Advancing Hand in Hand to Explore New Frontiers in Smart Agriculture
This collaboration not only marks PRCXI Bio's deepening engagement in agricultural technology applications but also represents a significant milestone in extending its “Smart Laboratory” system to critical industrial sectors. Moving forward, PRCXI Bio will continue to deepen partnerships with leading institutions like Nanjing Agricultural University, driving the comprehensive integration of automation and intelligent technologies with agricultural research. This initiative will provide robust technological support for China's high-quality agricultural development and food security.
